How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I stayed for 5 months. The money you receive depends on your university and country of origin.

What is the student lifestyle like in Valencia?

There is a lot for the student to enjoy. There are many activities and parties.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Valencia to other students?

Yes! It is great!

What is the food like?

I didn't eat much out, but in general compared to the Netherlands for example the food is more tasty.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Valencia?

No. There are many associations and private owners who rent a room at their place.

How much does it cost to live in Valencia?

Around 200- 500 euros.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are language courses offered, but again depends on which university you are going to study at (some of them offers it as part of a course).

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Valencia from your city?

By plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Valencia?

I would say hang out in the student area Blasco Ibáñez.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Valencia?

There are many great restaurants which are not difficult at all to find.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

There are so many things to see and do! Just enroll yourself in an Erasmus organization and they will update you on all cultural events and travels that they are organizing.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Valencia in the future?

Just do not come here without knowing a bit of Castellano. The majority of people do not speak/understand English.
