How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
6 months, i guess my erasmus help was about 200-250 euros, i can't remember well
What is the student lifestyle like in Valencia?
That's amazing, probably you'll arrive alone but you'll find easily people to go out with. In la Bolseria and other bars, you have themes to appreciate and meet other cultures. The weather is so welcoming, we enjoyed until beginning of november the beach. You CAN'T STAY ALONE OR IT MEANS YOU WANT IT.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Valencia to other students?
Surely, excellent program of study and big help from teachers About the city, for one semester it s great, after one year, you need to discover other cities even if you will do it by travels.
What is the food like?
TAPAS! you have to go to 100 montaditos all wednesday, it's cheap and so good. We need it in France!
You will eat paellas too and learn fast how to cook them.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Valencia?
When i arrived i asked an agency to help me to find a place but i guess it's better to arrive in a youth auberge and look in all streets, you ll find papers indication by roomates to suggest a place in their flat. Take care to visit them and be sure they re cool and honest. I made it for my second semester with 4 crazy guys from different countries, it was so fun
How much does it cost to live in Valencia?
Not so expensive, for locomotion you have Valenbisi, subway, buses and for life, you can live with 500e per months all included.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
ABSOLUTELY! I arrived i could just say "hola que tal" i was asking my friend with who i came with to traduce, i took curses to hispania escuela in front of UEM and with parties and friends you get use to speak, read and listen. To my uni, only spanish, just the english normal lesson was changing the use
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Valencia from your city?
i would say Plane with Ryanair but take care the weight, memories take a loooot of place in your luggages.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Valencia?
las3, bolseria, carribean and others you ll discover then

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Valencia?
just go on the center, you ll find a lot of tapas place not so expensive. As info, to look if it s not so expensive, look the price of patatas bravas, the normal price is around 5 euros no more
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Valencia in the future?
HAVE FUN and don't hesitate to speak even few in spanish, they'll help you ;)
