How do you find living in the city of Toulouse? Do you recommend it? How is the city?

Simply great! There is an enormous amount of students, the city is very young and really festive... and that Toulouse accent...

For studies in France, it is difficult to find better.

How is the student life in Toulouse?

Incredible, there's a good mood everywhere. It is very easy to meet people and the fact that there is loads of foreigners helps the diversity.

What is the cost of living in Toulouse?

There is nowhere better for a student, the transport is affordable, with not a bad discount for students. It's perfect!

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Toulouse? Do you have any advice to give?

It's really easy, you just have to go on Le Bon Coin and you will find some immediately. However, you must get one really early because accommodation goes very quickly, but from experience, it's possible to get accommodation all year round. Toulouse is a real gold mine when it comes to real estate.

What is the food like in the city? What are your favourite dishes?

It's not too different from the rest of France...

Of course cassoulet! It's a tradition!

What places do you recommend seeing in Toulouse?

I recommend Pêche David, I love this place which is just sublime (of course when the weather is good!).

Everything that's on the edge of Canal du Midi, of the Garonne...

And eating in Toulouse? Can you tell us your favourite places?

As a student in the city centre, I recommend Burger à la une, Foxy, Solilesse, la Popote, la Fabrique, or even le Comptoir des Possibles which are absolutely great.

What places do you recommend for going out in Toulouse?

Chez Vous in the city centre is really good, if not there are many nice bars in this area. Most of the time I discovered them by accident.

What advice about Toulouse do you want to give future Erasmus students?

Toulouse is a superb city with a really good atmosphere, even on the bus!

I advise you to be be close to you school because the transport can quickly become troublesome. Apart from that, you will have a blast!
