What is it like to live in Timisoara? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The city used to be a multicultural one, with lots to learn and share every day. Now, after decades of social engineering, there is almost a monocultural city, with nostalgic people trying to preserve what they still can. Living in Timisoara may be a good opportunity to go back in times of the monarchy, of the cultural, underground struggle or in the mindset of December 89. But also a chance to do none of these and stay bore.

What is the student lifestyle like in Timisoara?

It used to be active, with good music, sports and cultural experiments. But I have graduated quite long ago and I am afraid that the flavor is gone

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Timisoara? Is there any advice you can give?

Rooms or apartments to rent are lots around 200-250 euros, if I am not wrong. In the campus may be cheaper but it is almost impossible for new comers.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

good. Fish and chicken.
