Why did you choose to go to Timisoara, Romania?

Because it was very cheap and city sounded interesting. Different culture, food and people made me choose this city.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I received 800 euros, 200 euros per month wish is enough if you stay in the dorms, if you have to find a room or an apartment is not enough.

What is the student lifestyle like in Timisoara?

Very good, there are a lot of students and students bar's which is great.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Timisoara to other students?

Yes!! It's a very good city for students, really cheap, pretty and you get to learn all there new things. You can save money to travel to another countries.

What is the food like?

The food is very different from my country, but I dind't disliked it but it's very different, the spices, the meat, everything.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Timisoara?

I stayed in a hostel for the months I was there, payed 180 euros per month. They didn't had space for me and my friend at the residence of the university.

How much does it cost to live in Timisoara?

Since is a very cheap city I would say around 150/200 euros per month, but it depends on the life you live there.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes there are courses but the language is a little bit complicated but you understand some words.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Timisoara from your city?

By plane, there are a lot of low costs flights but you don't have a lot of direct flights to Timisoara, usually you have to do scale in another country.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Timisoara?

Near Piata Uniri there are a lot of bares and coffe's.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Timisoara?

YES! Pizzeria Napoleon, Pinochio, and a lot of other's you need to discover.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The piatas in general are really good to see.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Timisoara in the future?

Travel a lot, there are a lot of cheap country's around Romania that you can visit!
