What is it like to live in Timisoara? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It’s a beautiful elegant city with great architecture and lots of green spaces and beautiful parks. I enjoy being outside and taking walks in the city center a lot

What is the student lifestyle like in Timisoara?

For a medical student like me it’s perfect cause the main parties ar in the weekend so there are not many distractions from studying. The library is really cool, across the street there are the main pubs and restaurants on the Begra river side so it’s perfect for breaks too

How much does it cost to live in Timisoara?

Timisoara is a medium expensive city, you can manage with little money but also treat yourself

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Timisoara? Is there any advice you can give?

It’s a bit more difficult than other western european cities because it’s not that common to share a flat with strangers so usually you rent a place by yourself or with your friends

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is good, you can eat cheap and good at students canteen. I like to eat burgers in complex at 100% Burgers (very very tasty) and Jack’s Bistro is my favourite place to go for food located in the city center, the food is amazing, the waiters are very friendly and the place realy cozy

What places would you recommend visiting in Timisoara?

The city center, Unirii square-Opera square, lase tag, art museum, cart race, envents in general

Jack’s Bistro, 100% Burger, Libanese, Anturaj

Is the nightlife good in Timisoara? Where is good to go?

Epic Vara, Under the Ivy, Fratelli by the river, D’arc

What advice would you give future students heading to Timisoara?

Enjoy your stay, party as much as you can, make friends cause the people are very friendly and cool
