Whatever you want, from mainstream to more alternative. Thessaloniki hosts two big universities with many departments so it is a city full of students

How much does it cost to live in Thessaloniki?

The rent is extremely low. You can easily find an apartment with 250-300 euros. Apartment not room! Drinks usually cost 5-6.5 euros, food in taverns is around 10 euroes per person, busses around 0.6 per root.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Thessaloniki? Is there any advice you can give?

You can easily find an aparmtent from the very first day you come here. Utilities are usually out of rent and the apartmnets are not furnished. But again compared to other european cities is extremely cheap.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is just amazing. Everything you need, from junk food to restaurants and from meat to grocery is just cheap and of very good quality.

What places would you recommend visiting in Thessaloniki?

Apart from the city center, you can always go to Anw Poli. an area close to the center with small paths, amazing architecture and amazing taverns!

Is the nightlife good in Thessaloniki? Where is good to go?

The whole city is full of bars and cafes and not only the city center. Every area has its own center and bars are open until 3 the weekdays and until morning Friday and Saturday.

What advice would you give future students heading to Thessaloniki?

Try to buy a house because you definitely want to live there!
