Thessaloniki is one of the best cities you can live as a student to university!Nice and cheap food, a lot on nightlife with normal prices and of course you can go everywhere by walk(in the centre of the city)!Also it has sea (not available for swimming) and nice warm weather!

What is the student lifestyle like in Thessaloniki?

Greeks says: when you go to university you will start for real to live! And its true...You can do anything you want in normal prices!one student goes to university after for coffee and then go out for a drink!a lot of bars are open everyday until the morning!

How much does it cost to live in Thessaloniki?

500-700 euro! it depends where do you live and what's you lifestyle(if you go out a lot or not)!

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Thessaloniki? Is there any advice you can give?

No its something really easy!Every home you can find in the centre its good because you can go by walk everywhere!

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is one of the best parts in this city!Quality and quantity in everything you take to eat!Generally Greeks has been specialist to food! A lot of metideranean tastes!

What places would you recommend visiting in Thessaloniki?

White tower of Thessaloniki, the port, navarinou square, club vogue, la rosa negra night club etc, aristotle university camp

Is it good to eat out in Thessaloniki? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

For sure!Cheap and cool food almost everywhere. This city is famous for the food in Greece. For something elegant(gourme) you can join Kitchenbar and Agioli!Also really good restaurants are: Tiganies kai sxares, Elia lemoni, Ouzo melathron etc.

Is the nightlife good in Thessaloniki? Where is good to go?

Nightlife rocks!!!IHas everything for every taste of music drinks etc. From cool and elegant lounge bars and clubs until greek "Mpouzoukia" (greek music places) you can find anything!!!Clubs: Vogue, Roi mat, 8ball, Markiz(greek music club), Houze, Division, Picaddily

Bars: La doze, Elvis, Kitchenbar, Shark, Le za zouz, Sinatra wine bar, Apallou etc.

What advice would you give future students headed to Thessaloniki?

Experience of life...Dont stay abstinent...Its time to feel free and do what you like here!
