Why did you choose to go to Thessaloniki, Greece?
I was in a hurry, my last chance for exchange was close.
I decided Greece and Thessaloniki because leaving cost is affordable, and for me Visa process got easy!
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The worst problem is that most of the landlords and Real Estates asks for higher price, because you are gonna rent for less than 1 year. In such a condition, if you find another student successes for the other 6 months, you can convince them to ask for a logical price.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Airplane, cheap airlines
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Thessaloniki?
Kamara neighbourhood (Attention: Avoid University Campus and neighbourhood at late night).
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Thessaloniki?
Kamara neighbourhood, you should try Gyro in Yok Balik restaurant, Γιόκ Μπαλίκ.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Thessaloniki in the future?
- Use the the local bus (ΟΑΣΘ) even for long distances out of the municipality.
- Don't imagine a modern European city
- Forget about finding decent part-time job.
- You should take care more about safety and security.
