Why did you choose to go to Thessaloniki, Greece?

I have visited Thessaloniki few times, before, and I liked it, so I wanted to spend more time there, to really experience the life in Greece.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Would you recommend the city and the University of Thessaloniki to other students?

Yes

What is the food like?

Mediterranean cuisine, many nice restaurants and tavernas, and cheap fast food places.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Thessaloniki?

I found my accommodation through an agency, so I paid some money to them, but I know many people that found an appartments on internet and on facebook groups so they didnt pay some extra money

How much does it cost to live in Thessaloniki?

Depends, but let's say 600 euros, plus you can save a lot of money if you eat in school restourant.. Which is free for students of Aristotle University ;)

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

You can take language course, for ATEI University students there is free language course, and so far I know that there is organised 2 week course for Aristotle University sudents which is for free, and there are some courses for 3, 4 months for which you are supposed to pay.. You can find everything about this on official page for Aristotle University ;)

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Thessaloniki from your city?

By train, although it takes long time

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Thessaloniki?

Try Valaoritou street and Ladadika area

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Thessaloniki?

Many good fast food places in Navarinou square and Kamara.. also nice restaurants in Aristotelous square.
