Why did you choose to go to Thessaloniki, Greece?

Because of the nice temperature!

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

i recieved a erasmus scholorship for the duration of my stay

What is the student lifestyle like in Thessaloniki?

Chillings

Would you recommend the city and the University of Thessaloniki to other students?

Yes, it was really nice. The university is very easy. My lowest score was an 8

What is the food like?

The greek food is great and in Thessalonoki is is cheap to eat in a restaurant

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Thessaloniki?

I had accommodation in Matsi. I don't rcommend this, the rooms are small and ugly. On the other hand it is very nice that there are other Ersmus students

How much does it cost to live in Thessaloniki?

That depends on what you want to do. It can be very cheap because you can eat for free at the university restaurant, but that food is not fantastic. But Greece is certainly cheaper as Holland, Belgium Germany etc.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Language courses are available but Greek is not easy to learn

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Thessaloniki from your city?

By plane

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

White tower, castle, chalkidiki

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Thessaloniki in the future?

Take the risk, it is one big adventure!
