What is the student lifestyle like in Thessaloniki?
For a foreign student i had to self study my courses. But i had so much fun with the events and students activities that were almost everyday.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Thessaloniki to other students?
Yes.
What is the food like?
Its very similar to my home country's food.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Thessaloniki?
I think yes.
How much does it cost to live in Thessaloniki?
500/month is enough.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Yes. And yes there are language course but its not free.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Thessaloniki from your city?
By plane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Thessaloniki?
I'm not sure because I didn't go to many parties but there is alot of options.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Thessaloniki?
Falafel, Brothers in low and there is too many good tavernas.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
You can walk on sea side and you can notice alot of cultural sites. But there are sites thats far from the sea side like the castle, kamara and the upper city.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Thessaloniki in the future?
Have fun as much as you can.
