Why did you choose to go to Thessaloniki, Greece?
I love Greece, greeks, their mentality,their culture, I heard only good things about Thessaloniki,i had many friends there that s why i choose that city.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I studied greek, i had every day lessons. It depends how much money u need, if u go every day out, eating fast food, etc, but i think thessaloniki is quiet cheap,u can find many places example at kamara where the prices are made excatly for students.
What is the student lifestyle like in Thessaloniki?
lifestlye is awesome. I just can only reccomend this amazing city. every day parties, u always meet new people on the streets,bars,pubs, they city really never sleeps.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Thessaloniki to other students?
yes.absolutly.it was my best period,time when i lived in Thessaloniki.
What is the food like?
I really like the greek kitchen, but every corner u can find fast food, like hamburgers, pizza ( one euro one piece) salats, sandwiches.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Thessaloniki?
no, my friends helped me.
How much does it cost to live in Thessaloniki?
i can t tell this, it depends.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
the language course what i had was really great and useful, it was intensive, i had every day, the teachers were the best. U can find them in the university and apply for it. Greek language is difficult,but slowly slowly u can get it :)
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Thessaloniki from your city?

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Thessaloniki?
everywhere :) ladadika, next to the port are great places also. the center is full of bars,pubs, clubs.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Thessaloniki?

What good cultural sites are there to visit?
lefkos pyrgos,( white tower) rotonda, agios dimitrios(bazilika), eptapyrgio( castra), kalamaria, aristotelos square, agia sofia, and the football stadiums
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Thessaloniki in the future?
U will love it, U will fall in love with Greece and U always wanna go back :)
