Why did you choose to go to Thessaloniki, Greece?

Because i got a scholarship there , and it is one of the best cities in europe for students and erasmus.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

5 years , 368 euros permonth

What is the student lifestyle like in Thessaloniki?

It is the best , whatever i will tell you you should try it .

Would you recommend the city and the University of Thessaloniki to other students?

Yes because the students there are very kind and it is easy to male friends .

What is the food like?

It is the best in europe and very cheap and very good for students , if you try it you would never forget the taste of it .

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Thessaloniki?

If you come before September yeah it easy but if u come in september it will be difficult because every year 12000 students start to study in thessaloniki .

How much does it cost to live in Thessaloniki?

If you rent a studio and paid 200€ per month i think 700€ total you will live like a millionaire there .. sometimes i spend 400€ total.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The language is not easy at all, it will take a long time to learn it , but everyone there can talk english , And yes there is language courses to any language you want .

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Thessaloniki from your city?

Airplane is the best and it is not expensive .

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Thessaloniki?

You can go to bar on the beach near the white tower , But the best place to go is lathathika it is a street where you find every disco and a club.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Thessaloniki?

There is xrestos, in kamara its one of the best , and there is casanova pizza it so great and its just 1€
and there Savvikos it is great , Every restaurant in thessaloniki is so good trust me .

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

There are many cultural sites to visit it is very long to tell you here you can check it on google , But the best one is the white tower and the rotanda .

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Thessaloniki in the future?

You have to come to thessaloniki and visit it , because it is the best for erasmus students . and if you want anything just text me, and i have a big bedroom to anyone who can live in it , so just text me .
