Why did you choose to go to Thessaloniki, Greece?

I came to Thessaloniki beacuse I got the opportunity to do my intership as french teacher here in one the best primary schools of Greece

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I will stay for 3 months and receive 1500 euros

What is the student lifestyle like in Thessaloniki?

whenever students want to go out, they will find a place to go ! events happen every night, and every week-end is busy, either with a trip or going out in bars and night clubs !

Would you recommend the city and the University of Thessaloniki to other students?

the city is for people who like busy places,there's always something to do

What is the food like?

delicious !

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Thessaloniki?

I am not very good at finding accomodations, so I chose a student room. but a lot of people actually post a message when they have a free room

How much does it cost to live in Thessaloniki?

it depends on what you like to do, but with rent, food, coffees, taverns and bars, it all becomes quite expensive. students go to free canteen-but I can't. So I would say around 700 e a month

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

don't have greek class

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Thessaloniki from your city?

none, I had to take the lowcost plane from Paris-Beauvais

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Thessaloniki?

Ladadika area

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

museum of archeology, castle

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Thessaloniki in the future?

don't be or stay alone ! everything happens with friends !
