1st Horror Festival in Thessaloniki, Greece 31.10.2013
On the night of Halloween, people of Thessaloniki celebrated in ENO bar, which organized the 1st Horror Ferstival in Thessaloniki, Greece! The night begun at 7 o'clock and had 3 parts. In each part, lasting almost 1-1 and a half hour, the organizers read exctracts from horror books that were written by natives in Greek. There were also dancing performances and viewing of horror short movies. After the 3-part event, there was a Halloween party organized in the same bar.
The setting was put together according to the horror theme of the night: there was a long table with red tablecloth and candles where some people is goth costumes like dracula, vampires and witches where sitting, on the mirrors there were words written on red color and next to the screen there was a coffin standing. The mood, the atmosphere and the music during the performances and the breaks where creepy and scary to match with the Halloween idea. Everyone seemed to have fun and the best part of the show was the free entrance to the event! Here's a picture where one of the amateur actors (I think) reads an exctract of a horror story, the coffin at the back and the appropriate slides on the screen!
Hope that it happens next year too!
