when I lost in Rome

To start talking with Italy is a very nice place.Besides, I admired people as well and now I will tell you why.I was traveling with my friends in Italy we traveled together till night and then we separated because our hostels were reserved in different places.The hotel that I had it was a bit far away from the city.I was worried because my phone was switched off and I knew the address and the hotel name, but I could not use google map.In addition, it was the first time when I was traveling in Europe.It was 8 o'clock night and I could not find the address of my hotel I was walking a lot, I asked the locals where was my hotel address but the could not understand anything.One Italian woman tried to help me and google the address but she could not find it and she was worrying as well because it was new year eve day and I was lost. I walked a lot in the street to ask someone where is this address but unfortunately, I did not get the answer they did not know. But, ultimately I decided to use hitchhiking and one old man stopped the car and I asked where is the address of this hotel and he said I will bring you there and it was 10 minutes from where he take me.I was a bit afraid that I did not know this man and sit his car.But frankly speaking I want to say that Italians are very helpful he brought me to my hotel I looked the watch and it was 11:30 pm from 8 pm I was looking the place. But in the end was very happy because I would not be outside somewhere lost for a new year.It was really funny that I lost in Rome, but at that time it is very memorable Erasmus story that I had.
