Why did you choose to go to Rome, Italy?

I didn't choose Rome to begin with as I wanted an English speaking destination, but they offered me Rome and out of all of Italy, Rome is a wonderful city.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My scholarship lasted ten months and I received €250 for only 5 months.

What is the student lifestyle like in Rome?

The student lifestyle is very good, it's very similar to the lifestyle in Spain.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Rome to other students?

Yes, I would recommend the city, but I have to say that the universities leave a little to be desired in comparison to Spanish universities, in particular my university in Madrid.

What is the food like?

The country's food is delicious, I really recommend it. It's also very easy to find any food that you want.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Rome?

Not a lot, since Rome is a big city and there are lots of options.

How much does it cost to live in Rome?

Like all cities, the cost of living varies depending on what district you're in, but in general it's similar to Madrid although, fresh food is more expensive than in Spain.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I took a month long course before leaving but it wasn't of any use to me... you're learning all the time once you're there.

What's the most economical way to travel to Rome from your city?

Nowadays there are cheap flights.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Rome?

There are several groups for Erasmus who organise parties almost daily in different locations.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Rome?

Baffeto, Carlomenta, Ivo, etc.

What good culture sights are there to visit?

It's difficult to say as all of Rome is unbelievable! Although you can't miss enjoying the sunset from the viewpoint at the Piazza del Popolo.
