What is it like to live in Roma? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The first time you arrive in Rome, it seems totally a mess!

But once you find your dimension, everything is beautiful, interesting and cool. There is always something going on, people are friendly and Italian food is Italian food...!

What is the student lifestyle like in Roma?

It's cool. But the Italian bureaucracy is really complicated... so everything seems to be difficult... especially in a big university.

How much does it cost to live in Roma?

Not much. Rooms from 300 to 500 euros.

Don't know about transport because have a scooter (and I recommend a scooter because transport in Rome is terrible). Food is not that expensive

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Roma? Is there any advice you can give?

Not difficult. My advice is to find an hostel and come in Rome to find a house! Do not book an accommodation via Internet.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Pasta, pizza, meat, spaghetti, tortellini, fish... hey, it's Italy, come on!

What places would you recommend visiting in Roma?

The historical centre.

Is it good to eat out in Roma? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Is the nightlife good in Roma? Where is good to go?

It depends on your tastes.

What advice would you give future students heading to Roma?

You will find it unfriendly at the beginning because of the inefficiency of the public system, but you will totally fall in love with its atmosphere.
