What is it like to live in Rome? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The City of Rome as a student is great to grow up in, and for international students its absolutley a must do experience.

What is the student lifestyle like in Rome?

Students in general hang out in the main areas like: Trastevere, Campo di Fiori and San Lorenzo.

How much does it cost to live in Rome?

The average student can find a one bedroom in an appartment for around €450 a month plus utilities, and can live off €200 for other expenses like food and entertainment.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Rome? Is there any advice you can give?

Students find it hard to find accomodation only because owners do not trust the young students to respect their property and agreements. The best solution is to go through student services agency that assists them in finding the appropriate accomodations.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

In Rome "tutto e delizioso".

What places would you recommend visiting in Rome?

The main attractions from the Colosseo to the Vatican. You can easily walk the city in a day.

Is it good to eat out in Rome? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Rome has infinite number of places to eat, and they are all superb.

Is the nightlife good in Rome? Where is good to go?

The night life in Rome is awesome, just by hanging out in the main piazza's you will get a sense of where to go next.

What advice would you give future students heading to Rome?

Have fun, Be safe and try study.
