Why did you choose to go to Rome, Italy?

The main motivation to choose Rome was the proximity to my country, Spain, both culturally, climate and language (for Spanish it is easy to learn Italian quickly). Also Rome is well located in Europe so you can travel to other countries easily.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I have stayed a semester (which ends up being summarized in 5 calendar months). Uni starts in October and ends at the end of January, with their respective exams.
I have received a scholarship about 250 euros a month (1200 total to finance the whole Erasmus), it is a small amount compared to the real expense because of life is a bit more expensive than in Spain and the rent is high (i've payed about 500 eu a month for the flat)

What is the student lifestyle like in Rome?

The party is spectacular, there is party and nightlife every day because there are many Erasmus students. There are 2 Erasmus associations that organize ''botellones'' and parties in different nightclubs every night, very well organized and economical since there are Erasmus packages and reserved for us. The music is very varied, in most Erasmus clubs there are reggaeton but I like to listen to techno music, there are very good clubs that bring well-known DJs (but these are already more expensive)

Would you recommend the city and the University of Rome to other students?

Erasmus in Rome is a very good option. La Sapienza (my university) no. It is very badly organized and we are not very welcome Erasmus, especially when doing exams
