Why did you choose to go to Rome, Italy?
Didn't get accepted to the other ones..
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
One semester.
I spend about €1400 a month.
What is the student lifestyle like in Rome?
Laid back, loads of wine and chilling.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Rome to other students?
Sure. Just arrive in good time because something is always wrong with applications/classes etc.
What is the food like?
Good. Very much carbonhydrates.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Rome?
If I had to pay to find an accomodation? No? Rent is €450.
How much does it cost to live in Rome?
1400-450 = €950 a month.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Only study in English. It's working out quite OK.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Rome from your city?
By plane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Rome?
Ex Dogana
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Rome?
Not yet, sorry.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
So many, just walk around for 3 days and you've got it covered.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Rome in the future?
