Yes, I would recommend living in Rennes. It is a very student city! There are students from all formations and all countries. There is a lot of different schools in Rennes. The wealth of this city is mixing!

What is the student lifestyle like in Rennes?

Rennes is a student city! You can work the day and go out to have a drink in a bar with your friends. When Thursday arrives you go out all the nights at the end of the week! The Thursday night's party is very popular in Rennes!

How much does it cost to live in Rennes?

Rennes is like the other cities in France, it is expensive.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Rennes? Is there any advice you can give?

To rent a flat is expensive in Rennes! But you can rent a student room from the CROUS!

What is the food like? What are your favorite dishes?

The food is good! My favorite dishes are "Galettes" and "crêpe"! These are specialities from Bretagne.

  • "Place des Lices" to do party
  • "Rue de la soif" to take a drink the Sunday night
  • "Parc du Thabor"
  • "Parc des Gayeulles"

Is the nightlife good in Rennes? Where is good to go?

Yes there are 3 good night club: Délicatessen, Pym's and L'Espace.

My favorite is L'Espace.
