It's one of the good schools in our school choices.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
Ours isn't a scholarship.
What is the student lifestyle like in Rennes?
The city has many students and there's night life in Saint Anne.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Rennes to other students?
Yes.
What is the food like?
There are only few good restaurants. I usually buy and cook my own food.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Rennes?
It cost us 1200 euros for an apartment floor with 2 toilets.
How much does it cost to live in Rennes?
About 500 euros per month.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
French is a bit hard. In ESC Rennes yes.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Rennes from your city?
Get the Korrigo card for around 20-30 Euros per month depending on your age. You can use it for buses and metros.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Rennes?
Saint Anne.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Rennes?
Bulgogi-Korean La Gavotte-Creperie.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Not much.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Rennes in the future?
It's very peaceful and quiet.
