Why did you choose to go to Rennes, France?

It is one of the options I could pick from, and since I spoke French I was confident I would be able to fit in.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My placement was for a term and I received a grant of £1200.

What is the student lifestyle like in Rennes?

There were many other Exchange Students and many exchange events were put on.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Rennes to other students?

I would recommend Rennes. I did not do my placement with University of Rennes.

What is the food like?

Deliciouse! If you are a fan of Crepes...

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Rennes?

It did but was very reasonable for student living.

How much does it cost to live in Rennes?

About £300 a month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I am fluent in French so this wasn't an issue but yes language courses are available.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Rennes from your city?

Either fly or train.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Rennes?

City Centre.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Renne in general is quite an old town, so it has a lot of characteristics.
