Because Rennes has prestige regarding universities.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
It is 4 months long. 500 € more or less per month.
What is the student lifestyle like in Rennes?
To go to class because in my school is compulsory. And you can go out all days you want because there are a lot of bars depend on the day.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Rennes to other students?
Yes, of course. Rennes has all you need.
What is the food like?
The food is similar to Spain but it's more expensive. For example, fishes and meats are really expensive.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Rennes?
Yes, it was hard for me. I had to stay in a hostel during one week until I found a room in a residence.
How much does it cost to live in Rennes?
From 350 € to 500 € to rent a room. In addition, to live 250 € approximately.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
I didn't improve a lot my French. I refreshed my French with a course in my school.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Rennes from your city?
It is expensive to travel from Spain to Rennes. The most economical for me is to travel until Paris, and then to go to Rennes by train.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Rennes?
In the city centre, in the Rue St Michel. And then, there are several discos like L'Espace or Pym's.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Rennes?
In the city centre there are several creperies and some good restaurants.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
- Thabor park,
- Parlament,
- The Opera,
- And the river.
