What's it like living in Quito? Would you recommend it? How is it?
Well, Quito is a beautiful city, its climate varies so you can have really sunny days and a little while later, there could be heavy rain. It has a large amount of colonial architecture and tourist centres, the only bad thing about the city is the traffic which usually ends up in chaos so if you're going to close-by places, it's better to walk there so you can take advantage of getting to know the city and sharing with its beautiful people.

What's the student vibe like in Quito?
In regards to education in Quito, there are two options which are public education where you have to take an exam and based on the grade you get, you can apply to a course and private education which is easier to get into.
How much does it cost to live in Quito?
The cost of living there is around 600 dollars for the sorts of places you can stay and live in, transport is cheap - you can go through the city for 25 cents.
Was it difficult for you to find accommodation in Quito? Do you have any advice?
There are a few options when it comes to living, you can choose between residencies or a flat which is already furnished.
What's Ecuadorian food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Gastronomy is very varied over there, you have foods from all over the world as well as traditional Ecuadorian food. You can't come to Quito and not try the traditional sweet empanadas, or the famous Canelezo (hot alcoholic drink) on a cold day.

Which places would you recommend visiting in Quito?
You can go to the Panecillo, Colonial Quito where you will find a lot of museums as well as façades from the colonial era, you can also go to the cable car - a place from which you can appreciate the whole city in all its splendour. If you go to the cable car, don't forget to wear warm clothing as the cold is brutal.
And to eat in Quito? Can you name some of your favourite places?
If you want to experiment with dishes from Quito, you can't miss going to La Ronda. Preferably from 6pm as it's not very busy in the mornings.
Which places would you recommend for a night out in Quito?
In regards to the nightlife, traditionally people go to Plaza Foch which is the meeting point for fun as well as there being a huge amount of clubs and bars surrounding the city.

Any advice for future students going to Quito?
If you want to get to know a quiet place but with a large amount of traditions and legends, then don't think twice and visit us because over here, we will be happy to have you.
