I write today for a special concern that every student and traveler around the world is experiencing to spend the most amazing journey abord without the need of paying much money or putting half of the travel budget in it which is accomodation. Accomodation while being abord differs in fonction of the purpose of the travel tourism, studies affairs or conferences and everyone would surely be interested in some advices to get the best quality price ratio and have the best room with all the necessary things and commodities such as clean and tidy room, near the public transportation, in a calm zone meaning without repetitive and constitutive sounds that does not allow students for example to sleep properly for their upcoming exams, all of these conditions must be took in consideration before choosing the right accomodation.

1-student rooms

For my personal experience, I discovered that in Portugal either in Braga or in Porto, there are empty rooms available inside of native inhabitants houses for the Erasmus students that needs in regular times rooms in of the middle of the scholar year for spending traineeship periods or internship in the different universities of the country. Knowing that the rooms available inside of the compus are usually full from the month of August and that usually they propose a contract to fulfill the room until the end of the scholar year meaning June to July so this option seemed to me impossible because it does not suit an Erasmus student going aboard just for a semester or some months, in consequences the best way is the rooms rent for a minimum of 200 euros to a maximum of 350 euros  Braga since its way cheaper that other cities in Portugal or an average between 250 to 370 euros in Porto which is more expensive because it's touristic city so accomodation prices increase accordingly to its strategic position.

Sharing a room with students is the best choice for me because you can share expenses like the price of Gaz water internet that can be divided by three persons for example so the amount paid will be less, you can help each other in cleaning the house by diving the house shores for every week and keeping the house even though it is a rental house always clean and organised because it is a must and not a personal opinion to do cleaning or not, and to be in security within a family and if people sre suffering from a special illness they can seek help from the poeple around that can handle the situation in the fastest way, it's also possible to become friends with the room mates to share experiences together and to support each other in every difficult situation this would arise amazing qualities between people such as kindness generosity honesty collaboration fraternity especially between people coming from different countries and with different background.

I had great times with my room mates as well but the only inconvenient I had during my internship in Porto was that the room mates did not assure the cleaning of the kitchen or of the common leaving room, I had to tell them over and over again to understand that it was not a matter of personal wish but an obligation so I had always to assure the cleaning especially of the kitchen and the bathroom , my room of course was everyday cleaned and well organised comparing to them. So these facts can disturb sometimes and prevent people from cohabiting happily together. For the second choice with is Airbnb I chose this option during a stay of one week in Spain thinking it was cheaper than hotels or even hostels that are usually the first options poeple choose, but I discovered that this option could not be so good and for many reasons, in fact, the concept of Airbnb is similar to student rooms but in this case I found myself cohabiting with the owner of the house. In student rooms, the owner can not automatically live in the house his is renting to students while in Airbnb house , the owner of the house is the one cohabiting with you. At first, we find this interesting as the prices are usually low and everyone want to pay less and have the comfort needed but the problem arise when the owner have some mental problems and that can really annoy you to the point of thinking to leave the country.

2- airbnb

In my personal experience, the owner of the house did not like that I clean the house in the morning saying that it produces sounds that make her up from her sleeping, she was always tracking the hours of depart and arrival to the house almost everyday so I did not feel the freedom to do whatever I liked or to go back home in the hour I wanted at night, she was also most of the time talking too much and always wondering about things that were not important to discuss with her, and in the final point I found out she was speaking alone, so suffering from terrible and mental problems , of course this is not the case of all people out there that rent Airbnb rooms but in my case I did not find it was the best choice for me.

If people does not have problems or specific illness, this way can be affordable but most of the time the owner finds a gap to follow the people and even unconsciously to burst into people 's lives and way of living such as the little habits that poeple have in having some meal from the fridge in the middle of the night, or leaving the light opened at night in the hall all of these little and specific things can annoy the owner and he will not leave his tongue inside his mouth to tell you this over and over again so in the final we find ourselves in the obligation of changing this accomodation.

3- hostels

The third and last choice is the hostels, I have been in many hostels through my different trips to Europe and I can say that the hostel can be the best choice if the conditions of hygien , of good organization and good location exist. Usually, I choose the hostel based on many criterias, for almost all the hostels I could find , the price of one night have a minimum price of 10 euros and a maximum of 20 euros, this depends mainly on the location,  a hostel in the Avenida central in Braga costs 10 euros with taxes and charges I paid 52 euros for one week which is awesome.

The hostel was very clean, although the bathrooms were shared but there was a distinction between the bathrooms outside and those inside the rooms, I could also enjoy relaxing nights as the hostel was far from the main road and a service of cleaning was allowing to clean the house everyday so I could find everyday new covers and a clean bathroom, everyone have his own keys for putting the clothes and discharge the baggage, I could also enjoy a very delicious breakfast that was included in the price that was composed of fruits, juice, coffee, cheese, and croissants which is also great, the location was in the heart of the city so I never needed transportation to come and go inside the city.

In Spain, hostels are are cheap but I considered them less attractive since usually the view is not the best the rooms also are a bit tiny without so much space for the double or single room and usually the breakfast is not included both in Barcelona and in Sevilla. Of course there are other choices than mine in terms of luxurious places but what I am sure of is that they are way expensive because I am talking now in the fact of paying 10 euros the price of one night, the taxes in Spain are also more than in Portugal instead of paying 1 euros we can pay up to 4 euros of taxes for one night. But with a good location, and with proximity to means of transport, the hostel can be without any doubt the best way to tourist visiting the city for the first time.

Even some hostels can provide swimming pools in the roof in Spain so it can offer to people a delightful experience and much more fun of being together and meeting new people in the atmosphere of harmony, help collaboration and prosperity .
