Why did you choose to go to Pilsen, República Checa?

In my case, it was the only place of Czech Republic that I could choose. To be honest i wanted to go because I love beer and always wanted to see Praha.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Six months and I received around 2800€ for all the scholarship

What is the student lifestyle like in Pilsen?

I really dont know because I did my final project there so I had only meetings with my tutor.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Pilsen to other students?

Yes I would, because the dorms are very close to the University ( in general ) and the facilities looked pretty new.

What is the food like?

I was fine and cheap. The University's food was very cheap, but not so good as all the places that were around the city and they didn't cost so much more.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Pilsen?

No, the University provided me since the first day.

How much does it cost to live in Pilsen?

I had enough spending around 300€ and even can I lived a luxurious life.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes they were, but in my particular case the teacher was sick few weeks and I gave up. The language is quite complicated but I could easy get basical phrases.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Pilsen from your city?

I had to take a plane in Madrid to Praha and then a bus near to the airpot that left me in Plzen in one hour.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Pilsen?

I can remember czech's pubs like Zumbera or Angel.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Pilsen?

San Marino, close to the Bory's dorms.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The synagogue, and the opera for example. And the cathedral was quite special.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Pilsen in the future?

Yes, never get into the bus without tickets, dudes.
