How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I receive 400 € per month. My exchange supposed to last for 4, 5 months and I will be paid during whole period.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Plzen to other students?

Yes, especially those who are medical students.

What is the food like?

Local cuisine is not very special. But one can find really good world cuisine in Plzen (Indian, Italian, Japanese, Mexican, French, etc. ).

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Plzen?

No. I stayed in dorm and most of the students are placed in various dorms around the city.

How much does it cost to live in Plzen?

About 300-350€ per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Czech language is really hard to learn. Even the most basic phrases are so complicated. There are some language courses.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Plzen from your city?

Plane to Prague and then a bus to Plzen.
