What is the student lifestyle like in Plovdiv?

As I said above, it is not very expensive city and there are also some special "student" places like cheap meals at the student restaurants and some discounts for theater tickets and transport.

There are many clubs and bars where the night life is very good and affordable, huge variety of different style of music there.

How much does it cost to live in Plovdiv?

It depends if you have rented private room/apartment or university residence. Private rooms are more expensive and also it costs you more with all of the bills included. Food and other stuff are okay.

I think with 500-600 lv on month are enough to live good but of course it depends also of the specific lifestyle of the individual.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Plovdiv? Is there any advice you can give?

If you search alone it may be difficult but there are many agencies that help for finding an accommodation.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is delicious in most of the places. There is wide variety of restaurants with traditional Bulgarion food, foreign meals and healthy food too. Most of the time when I eat out, I prefer Bulgarian meat balls with traditional salad ("Shopska/Ovcharska salata), or pizza.
