How is life in Paris? Would you recommend it?

Paris is a very lively city, with lots of things to do and so many places to visit.

I love Paris, I've lived here for 4 years now and I am still just as in love with the city. I would really recommend coming to spend a few months living here.

What is the cost of living in Paris?

Expensive.

Is it hard to find accommodation in Paris? Do you have any advice?

It is very difficult. You need a rental contract and guarantors. Before looking for accommodation, you must do some online research about this. On the other hand, it is easier to find shared accommodation (eg. an apartment with other flatmates).

How is the food? What are your favourite dishes?

My favourite dishes? Raclette! Yes, I am aware that it's very rich but since I discovered it I have loved eating it. Otherwise I enjoy all kinds of cheese... there are many in France.

Which areas would you recommend visiting in Paris?

The touristy areas but also the smaller less well-known areas that only the French know about. I would recommend the website My Little Paris (especially for girls), there are quite a few ideas on there.

And to eat in Paris? What are your favourite places?

There are all kinds of restaurants: Lebanese, Italian, Indian, French, Spanish... but you should avoid the areas that are too touristy, otherwise it'll be very expensive.

Where would you recommend going-out in Paris?

Grands boulevards. There are many little bars where you can go to dance.
