Experience the Palace of Versailles

Introduction

Hello everyone, I hope, that you are all doing just fine!

In this article I want to tell you about my amazing trip to France and that experience of mine in this huge Palace of Versailles, which is an unbelievable place, that you can never forget after visiting it. And, well, even without visiting, with just some pictures from the Internet or scenes from films, or information from the books and stuff like that, you just can not unsee that luxury and wealth, that is in the Palace of Versailles and those gardens and everything… This is just something fascinating!

Experience the Palace of Versailles

Well, the Palace of Versailles... What can you say about it?! It's a miracle! It's a place of wealth and beauty and if you go there, you can become sure of that. You know, it's not like I've always wanted to go to the Palace of Versailles or anything. I didn't even think, that it existed some time ago, because I was really little when I read Alexander Dumas and I just thought, that this all was just a place of his imagination and nothing really existed in the real world of ours. However, then I grew up and learned things about France and its history and everything and then I knew, that this thing did really exist and it was gorgeous. However, I knew that only from the pictures and Internet and films and I hadn't seen it myself, of course. And it was still unbelievable, that something like that could exist somewhere, I mean, the building, where all those fancy things could be gathered together and everything, you know. I just thought, that this all was just an exaggeration of French people, until I saw the Palace of Versailles myself.

We went there by ourselves and we really wanted to visit this place, of course, because we had just seen it in the movies and things like that and we wondered, whether it was that splendid as it was described in them, or it was kind of lies. However, when we got there, we were shocked by all those things there, I mean, first of all, there were these gardens, which were vast and wonderful and you could walk there for hours and even get lost there, I guess.

There were those fountains, which were just amazing and they had that historical look, which just reminded you, that you were walking into that thing, where once those great kings and queens used to walk and where all those intrigues were and everything. It’s just really a strange feeling, if you want to know the truth.

It’s a must see place, if you ask me, because everyone should see all those halls inside and the beautiful ceilings and the gardens and fountains and everything. You can never get enough of this Palace, because it’s just something unimaginable!

The entrance

Well, I was not under 18 at that time, so that I couldn’t get in there free of charge. You know, they don’t charge visitors under 18 years old and they don’t charge visitors under 26 years old, who live in the EU and visitors with disabilities, of course.

Well, the price ranges from 20 to 30 euros, it all depends on how much you want to see and you can even buy the tickets online on their web page, so it’s pretty easy and efficient to visit the place.
