What is it like to live in Paris? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I love living in Paris, it's amazing. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The cut is beautiful and the architecture is amazing. I love the walking and taking the metro.

What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?

Student lifestyle is really chill and laid-back. People go out all the time and everyone's generally pleasant

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

Paris is quite expensive, rent is relatively high even for tiny apartments. A lot of apartments don't have washers and dryers so you'll have to go to laveries near you to do laundry. Rent generally goes from 500 euros in the worst and smallest apartments to 1500 for reasonably sized apartments where you won't have to share a bathroom. There're obviously more expensive apartments too. Grocery shopping is not too expensive of you're going to Dia or Carrefour but Monoprix has almost everything.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Paris? Is there any advice you can give?

I don't know because I found accommodated through my school. I'm pretty sure there're websites that'd help with an apartment search

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I'm not adventurous with my food so I stick to baguettes and chicken sandwiches. Pastries are AMAZING and the bread is beautiful LoL.

What places would you recommend visiting in Paris?

The Louvre (don't expect too much from Mona Lisa), the bridge with locks which is near The Louvre, Notre Dame, Versailles

Is it good to eat out in Paris? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Eating out is fun and a good experience everytime. My friend and I love this place called Café Rousillon which is on Rue Cler in the 7th arrondissement. Sushi shop has good sushi. Siempre which is either in the 7th or 15th has really good food as well.

Is the nightlife good in Paris? Where is good to go?

Yes it is, it's very lively and there're always people out and about.

What advice would you give future students heading to Paris?

Explore and have fun...walk into random bars, that's where you'll have the most fun, take in the beauty of the city then venture outside it and do some exploring.
