What is it like to live in Paris? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Paris is a very though city when one lives there. If your buget is normal to restraint things are even more difficult.
All administrative things one has to do can be a real hassle a very long waiting hours in queues.
The city is much nicer being a tourist to do sightseeing and visit museums.

What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?

To be student within a program, like Erasmus, is quite a luxery.
The Universities take of you from A to Z, and to find housing within a program is quite different than just looking on your own.
Tha's a real nightmare.

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

Well, kind of like in every big city I suppose. But less expensive than London or New-york!

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Paris? Is there any advice you can give?

Yes, extreemly. And one needs 3 to 4 months of rent in advance, a well paid job with at least 3 months payslips, a garantee person (not easy to find).
Agencies are usually rip offs, but getting housing directly from landlords can also be very dangeorous. Flats are not often up to standard in Paris, just looks like it until you find out later.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Ok. But often not super. One should opt for Brasseries or some well known restaurants.
I love suchis and sachimis. And that ever so easy to find nowadays in Paris. Plus it's very affordable.
