What is it like to live in Paris? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It is really nice, I would recommend it.

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

it is quite expensive, the average cost for apartment is around 700/800 euros and for food and other it could cost around 200 euros. so in total its about 1000 euros

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Paris? Is there any advice you can give?

It is really really hard. Its better to find accommodation around or before June and July when a lot of foreign students go back to their country or leave for holiday.

What places would you recommend visiting in Paris?

Notre Dame De Paris is a good place to visit especially if you are catholic. Champs Elysees is also nice to hang around with friends and for shopping because there are a huge range of option.

Is it good to eat out in Paris? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It is quite good, although it is quite expensive. As a student, I prefer to eat at home and cook

What advice would you give future students heading to Paris?

If your university starts september or october, it is better to arrive in Paris 3 months ahead to find accommodation. If you arrive in Paris in September or October, the chance of getting a good accommodation will be small.
