What is it like to live in Paris? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Definitely i recommend it! Paris- is unique city! Not only because all people say that it's the city of love, but also because of it's history, architecture, customs and view. To live in Paris is like to be a part of it, and never think about where to go for a walk alone or with friends. U can go wherever u want and everywhere u will find interesting landscapes and adventures.

What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?

To be honest i found the opinion that each student in Paris studies very hard during the week and in week-end they just drink a lot! So, they relax only at week-end. But for me personally student lifestyle is more closer than in Paris.
(maybe cause it's my native country, who knows). But the only thing i'm totally sure is that Paris students are more crazier than EVEN in Moscow!

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

It was expensive. I spent like 1 600 euros each month (including accomodation rent).

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Paris? Is there any advice you can give?

For me it was. Cause in a distance from this city it was kind of a problem. I couldn't find good flat for myself via internet ,being in Moscow. Only when i arrived there i found a residence in the city (near Paris) - in Courbevoie. But still it costed a lot.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food in Paris- is a unique topic, about which i can talk hours and hours. Baguetes, cakes, and other tasty things - were amazing! Especially i liked tuna. (sort of fish) I hate it before all my 20 years, but in Paris, as u know, your tastes can change.
So, about food i can say only in 3 words "IT IS PARIS". That's it!

What places would you recommend visiting in Paris?

A lot of! Practically everything! Even during my 6 months there i'm not sure that i visited all beautiful places of Paris.
Place de la Concorde
Champ-Elysees
Champs de Mars
Place de Clichy
MOULIN ROUGE(the ticket costs about 100 euros- but don't be stingy, u will enjoy it, i promise!)
Jardin du Lixembourg
Louvre (of course, but personally me - i don't have such a great impression from Mone Lisa)
Defense
Pay attention on different gardens! In Paris they are especially beautiful!

Is it good to eat out in Paris? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yeah, sure!
It will cost maybe a lot, but u will like it.
For instance, visit such kind of places like: Briochee Doree, Pomme du Pain (there u can taste LES CHOQUETTES - very popular desert in Paris or CROQUE MONSIEUR - kind of sandwich with cheese and ham)
AND FORGET about McDonalds! You are in Paris, remember it!

Is the nightlife good in Paris? Where is good to go?

Yes, it is. In Paris it's not dangerous at all at nightime.
If u are interested in night clubs the following list is for u:
Club "67" (metro station Franklin Roosevelt)
"Palais Maillot"

What advice would you give future students heading to Paris?

Enjoy your life in Paris, u will remember it forever! Especially night life!
Dont miss u chance to visit this wonderful city!

Bon voyage!
