What is it like to live in Paris? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Paris can be really great. There are often new things to do like exhibitions, diverse events, theme parties .... also Paris is a big city so you'll always discover new places. Parisian universities are great because a lot of after work are organised. It will be easy meeting people if you're an outgoing person !
On the other hand Paris can be noisy, there are always a lot of tourists in the streets. It gets really crowded sometimes. And living this everyday can be a bit annoying.

What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?

There are a lot of parties organised for students and sometimes only for ERASMUS (even though everyone is free to come of course). There are a lot of places to meet with friends in Paris (cafés, gardens, quay...)
And a lot of cheap restaurants too! It is pretty nice

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

If you know where to go you can find it abordable. But in touristic areas it can become really expensive.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Paris? Is there any advice you can give?

My advice is to look in the suburbs. From there you can get to the centre with 10 minutes metro and it will be a lot cheaper !

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There are a lot of restaurants where you go to eat only cheese. This is awesome and not expensive.

What places would you recommend visiting in Paris?

Gardens ! They are beautiful. And also you should walk along the quay. For the touristic areas I recommend going in the morning or in the evening, there will be much less people.

Is it good to eat out in Paris? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Sweetea's is a good Korean restaurant !
Formaticus is a cheese bar !

Is the nightlife good in Paris? Where is good to go?

Just by walking in the streets you'll discover a looot of good spots and bars !

What advice would you give future students heading to Paris?

Enjoy and go out often !
