What is it like to live in Paris? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Paris is one of the biggest and most important cultural center in Europe. You can enjoy in the famous and known French gastronomy, you can visit the most important cultural attraction in the world, you can enjoy in thematic parcs...:-)
I can recommend this city and region for anyone, cause you can enjoy in all this things and you will have the opportunity to study at renowned Universities!

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

The PRICE.... The biggest weakness of this city! The costs of living here are huge.. Between 800-1000 euros for month. But you have one advantage here. You can get CAF, the social help for accommodation.
The accommodation is the most expensive, after that the alchocol! The food in the shops and restaurant is not so expensive.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Paris? Is there any advice you can give?

I think that it is difficult to find accommodation in Paris. I am living in the suburb of Paris, but i reccommend students home, CITE or CROUS.. But you need to apply the earliest you can.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is excellent . You have a different types of cuisine( Italien, arabic,serbian...).
You must go at the "boulangerie". C¨est parfait. And you must try French desserts.

What places would you recommend visiting in Paris?

At the first place I recommend to visit the Caste Fontainbleau..For the people who likes the climbing, there are the most famous climbing place in Europe.. After that, you can visit the most beautiful places in Paris: Eiffel Tower, Louvre, The Pantheon, Les Invalides, Place de Bastille, Chateau Versailles,Notre Dame, Latin quartier etc!! And of course bateaux mouches!

Is it good to eat out in Paris? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yeah. It is good. I preffered to eat at the Latin quartier! You can find there different types of restaurants,patisserie...

Is the nightlife good in Paris? Where is good to go?

It is good, but expensive. You have a lot of places where you can go. I preffered the Latin quartier too, or party at the boat.

What advice would you give future students heading to Paris?

Pack your bags and come here! It is good to be Parisian and it is good experience.
The night life, sudents life, a lot of different cultures at one place, good Unversities...
It is worth.
