What is it like to live in Paris? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

if you want to live in Paris you have to like the movement, the people because Paris is a city who live always quick and it is also quiet expensive. But if you love the culture you ill be at home in Paris, in fact, there are a lot of museums like le Louvre, Orsay... and the architecture of the buldings is beautiful.

What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?

They seems to be always busy, it depends where you study but there is a lot of associations and parties and it is quiet cool to studying in that city.

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

that is the negative point of the city, it is really expensive appartement and even drinks cost a lot compare to some country.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Paris? Is there any advice you can give?

I have to admit that finding an accommodation in Paris is quiet hard and very expensive. if you are student you may check on some university website they give sometimes tips to find accommodation. and think also to the suburb of the city which is sometimes really clause to Paris and less expensive and more calm.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I have to admit that it is the strength of the city. The food is really good and variated but you have to be careful to the touristic restaurant which are often not good and really expensive. I may said that my favorite dishes in France might be "crepe" you can put anything you want on it and it taste very good.

What places would you recommend visiting in Paris?

I think the best view to see the city of Paris are the tour Montparnasse and Sacré coeur because you can admire the city with the eiffel tower. I also recommend to see the Louvre for the art lover but my favorite museum is Orsay. Finally to have a break the hot chocolate Angelina is so so good. But there is so much to visit you never bored in Paris.

Is it good to eat out in Paris? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

actually it is really good but expensive, I can't telle my favourite spots in Paris but I like the diversity you can find typical french dishes but also from all over the world like Japanese food (which pyramid is a good place for asian food), also there are good italians, chineese, greec etc ...

Is the nightlife good in Paris? Where is good to go?

i find the night life really cool there are a lot of student party organise, there is a lot of bar and night club. the only problem are the transports and specially metro which stop at 1-2h depend of the day so it may some time be hard to go back home so you have to stay all the night out. It is good to go on the "quais de Seine" with a bier when the weather is cool because there are a lot of students and you have to come with friends with bottle of win or bier and you can admire the beautiful cathedral Notre dame.

What advice would you give future students heading to Paris?

they may look very early before the leave for an accommodation and they have to prepare a good budget but they are going to enjoy I think Parisian life.
