What is it like to live in Paris? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Paris is a beautiful city. It is really great to live in a city such Paris. You have places where it it very quiet (in Paris and out of Paris) and other places where you can party and have a lot of fun. I recommend to live in Paris and even near the city where it costs less.

What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?

Being a student in Paris is a good advantage. It is really easy to move by public transport, there is a lot of places to go. It is a very big city with a lot of festivals, parties, museums, restaurants,...

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

It depends but usually it costs a lot. Especially the rent but you can find flats that are not so expensive if you live out of Paris. The public transports are actually a bit expensive too. A bus ticket is around 2€ and the subway ticket around 1,5€, but you can buy a pass per mounth or per year which will cost you less.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Paris? Is there any advice you can give?

No it is not difficult. You can easily find a flat on internet like on seloger.com for example. As there are a lot of agencies it is not so complicated I think.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food in Paris is very good. You have a lot of different type of restaurant with all kind of price. Personally I have a preference for Italian food and it is very easy to find it at low cost.

What places would you recommend visiting in Paris?

I do not recommend a place particularly, there is so much things to see in Paris and in the region of Paris.

Is the nightlife good in Paris? Where is good to go?

I don't really like the nightlife in Paris because I find it too expensive so that is why I do not go out often. The price entry of all the clubs are around 20€ so I think it is expensive. Besides the drinks in the clubs are expensive as well.
