What is it like to live in Paris? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

living in Paris is amazing. the city is beautiful, a little bit dirty sometimes and the amount of people living there can be annoying but you will get used to it. Paris is full of tiny hidden places that you will probably love.
I would definitely recommend !

What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?

Students go out and party a lot. if we can, we go to the cafe and spend hours talking, drinking. during the weekend, when the weather is pleasant, we go on "les quais de Seine " to hang out, sometimes to skate...

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

Very expensive !

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

food is very good especially in the bakery ( croissant, pain au chocolat, baguette...) and cheese obviously !

What places would you recommend visiting in Paris?

if you into art, you should visit 59 avenue Rivoli. And you should go to Montmartre.

Is the nightlife good in Paris? Where is good to go?

well very very good (obviously not at the moment with the curfew at 6pm).
I personally don't really like clubbing in close places but drinking at a cafe late at night is very pleasant. people are usually out so its very lively. even on "les quais de seine", people listen to music, hang out, smoke, dance...

What advice would you give future students heading to Paris?

weird advice but make sure you meet people. I mean alone in Paris is sometimes fantastic but way better for the nightlife and for the moral !
