What is it like to live in Paris? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I 1.st went to paris , in 1972,after working a winter in London.
compared to London , then , paris was magic!! clean--fab buildings--food-- .in 10 days , saw Versailles-Chantilly- fountainebleau-louvre-& had to drag myself away, to get some sun in spain. it started a history love affair , in the 70's,& I read many books , on French history. have been back to paris , & Versailles , about 7 times ,& will be back to paris ,next april 16--may 16.

What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?

don't know, but , i'm still learning?

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

it aint cheap , but, you can live well , at reasonable cost , if you look around. a studio , can save a lot of expensive restaurant eating?

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Paris? Is there any advice you can give?

i'm still looking for my april visit. studio--elevator if not ground level, central paris.

every day , can be different. hard to be bored.

I don't do much , except opera/theatre.

What advice would you give future students heading to Paris?

be prepared , to be impressed. widen your eyes!
