What is it like to live in Paris? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Paris is a great experience. Paris is a beautiful city, with many things to do: theaters, cinemas, the biggest museums, gardens, with a history that goes back to the roman empire. It is one of the greatest cities of Europe, obviously a must-see. It has the biggest transportation system, RER, subway, buses, bicycles to visit the city. Like London, it never sleeps. This is also why it is a quite expensive city.

What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?

Taking the subway in the morning, going to the libraries to study (Bibliothèque sainte-Geneviève near the Pantheon is a great place to study), chilling out in the gardens, going to the movies/theater...

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

It costs quite a lot, although you can find a place for less than 600 outside the walls of the city. You can go all right spending 500€ a month, without the rent.

Yep. Advice: start early.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food? in Paris? it is a whole world. I don't have a favourite dish, many things are good and some aren't that good. To discover for sure.

What places would you recommend visiting in Paris?

Louvre, musée d'Orsay, Grand Palais, Tour Eiffel, Trocadéro, Champ de Mars, Invalides, Tuileries, Montmartre, le parc Monceau, le canal Saint-Martin, and so much more.

Is it good to eat out in Paris? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yep.

Is the nightlife good in Paris? Where is good to go?

Yes, you can go to many of the bars in town, but I don't know many of them, parisian like to party at their places rather than going out.

What advice would you give future students heading to Paris?

Live your life in Paris the best way you can. And don't miss a chance to discover every side of the city, it is a must-see.
