What is it like to live in Paris? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
What I love about living in the city is the diversity in culture that you can find , I would recommend Paris after my 2 year experience is you Face another side of reality , I come from a Latin American country in which people are more reserved and more close minded , here you open your mind to see things in a way before you wouldn’t , the city is chaotic their is always things to do , people are always in a rush , but in someway you fall in love with parís at the end
What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?
It’s really Nice , their is always something to do I would say night life over the weekend is really nice I find myself every weekend doing something , the picnics around Parisians areas are nice , you can just gather up with your friend and find your self in a park with a good cup of wine
How much does it cost to live in Paris?
Paris can be really expensive
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Paris? Is there any advice you can give?
Yes , I would suggest finding yourself a good guarantor , I have searched for many apartments and have had no luck , apartments go super fast , I would suggest if you don’t have a French guarantor getting prepared for an advanced payment
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Well I would say French food is not a taste for everybody , in my case I study to be chef so I always find myself eating around , my favorite dish would be duck
What places would you recommend visiting in Paris?
Norte dame , parcs , la chapelle , museums , sacre coeur
Is it good to eat out in Paris? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Yes , my favorite is: Ritz , le meurice , Frenchie , il gigolo , park Hyatt , L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon , monsieur bleu , l’avenue , plaza athénée
Is the nightlife good in Paris? Where is good to go?
Yes , I’m always in pubs we’re students go : cafe oz , O’Sullivan’s , salero pub Latino , le marginan , l’arc , duplex , raspoutin , Balajo
What advice would you give future students heading to Paris?
My advice is enjoy Paris as much as you can , try to adapt to the people and your sorroundings because at first you will not have the best first impression but one thing is always keep your stuff secure with you , always have an eye on your sorroundings
