What is it like to live in Paris? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It is magic. I woyld recommend it. It is the City of lights at night and shows how its architecture is coherent day by day.

What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?

The "Cité" area shows that the student lifestyle has been studied along the decades and centuries to offer the possibility for laïc and respectful students to integrate the french culture with feeling good.

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

The modern sites as yours' allow, according to me, as much as the universities commodities, to find enough interesting opportunities to make this cost lower enough to enjoy life aside of an intensive work, without worrying.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Paris? Is there any advice you can give?

I don't think so, and if ever it would be difficult, according to me the time would quickly provide unexpected opportunities, because of this magic.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food can be very tasty and proper whatever the price, from the five or ten euro meal in the "Quartier Latin", to the unforgettable but pretty expensive and historic "Procope", also located around the famous germanopratine boulevard, passing through all the ranges of price.

What places would you recommend visiting in Paris?

First the places surrounding famous monuments, that you can find easily printed on the items for sale in one of the tourisic streets Rivoli and d'Arcole, near Notre Dame.

Is it good to eat out in Paris? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

The hamburger Schwartz near Trocadero is a perfect affordable option, and if you have saved a lot, you may live the most magic dinner either in Lasserre or, maybe more famous, in La Tour d'Argent (near Notre-Dame de Paris).

Is the nightlife good in Paris? Where is good to go?

The Saint-Germain boulevard is according to me the most authentic parisian way to enjoy nightlife, even if a lot of jazz caves has been shut in the last decades at the level of rue de Rennes. But if you go accross the river to the right side, you will find hiper places, with consequently a slightly bigger budget.

What advice would you give future students heading to Paris?

Could you forgive to Paris or parisians if they show sometimes and i think quite rarely, a weird first appearance, as for example the tendancy to not pay enough attention to the good behaviours and manners that are legit to wait for from foreigners, despite of their passion for universal. Such as, sometimes, the unfriendly or even sometimes wild reactions to certain requests expected for with evidence.
