It is hard to find good accommodation, but you can cope. The most important thing is to have a good referent for the bond check and to be in good standing with the authorities.

The food is delicious. You can find plenty of tasty restaurants, bakeries, bistros and the like. My favorite dishes are quiches, crêpes, tartiflette, salads, duck confit, steak and fries, ratatouille, pot au feu and couscous.

It is good to eat out in Paris but you need to have a budget. My favourite spots are the korean and japanese restaurants near Opera, Chez Gladines, Papacionu...

Is the nightlife good in Paris? Where is good to go?

The nightlife is very pleasant. You can go to the Bellevilloise, the Alimentation Générale, the Rosa Bonheur, the Duc des Lombards, the Caveau de la Huchette, the Gibus, the Cigale, the Pop-Up du Label, the UFO, the Bus Palladium

What advice would you give future students heading to Paris?

Enjoy the city as much as you can, try to get to meet French people even if it's not always that easy and get up to date with any kind of event you might want to go to. Don't miss the Nuit Blanche in October and the Fête de la Musique in June!
