Why did you choose to go to Paris, France?
At the time it was my only other option
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I get around 600-800 from my parents and thats good if you can handel money
What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?
It always depends on your course and your amount of work. But you can make the best out of it
Would you recommend the city and the University of Paris to other students?
Not really, just based on the fact that ive experienced the most amount of rude people here than anywhere else and its difficult to live here as someone who doesnt speak french (they automatically treat you differently)
What is the food like?
The food is good, but on a student budget its just the same as always.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Paris?
Not at the moment but my next place probably
How much does it cost to live in Paris?
Its quite an expensive city so you need to be able to handel money
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Its not the easiest, but it depends on how determined you are
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Paris from your city?
Train
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Paris?
Walk around and find individual little bars with friends
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Paris?
I cant afford any good restaurants on a student budget haha
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
All the traditional tourist attractions
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Paris in the future?
Be prepared for rude people and make sure that you speak french well enough to hold a conversation
