Why did you choose to go to Paris, France?

As I wanted to work in the fashion and luxury sector, I knew it was the right place to do an internship.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Normally when you go to France with the Erasmus scholarship you received around 250 per month, which in that city is not a lot.

What is the food like?

There're all kind of possible restaurants in the city including a wide range of prices, so can eat good for cheap if you know the right places.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Paris?

Yes. When you are not french, for them is not enough to have a guarantor when renting a flat, they want you to have a french guarantor. I you don't, which is probably the case, the student residences will allow you to have any guarantor as long as you pay the whole stay in one payment or each 3 months (that means almost 3,000€ each payment).

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

That depends on the lifestyle that you wanna have. The rent will take around 1,000 each month and then you have to add the rest of the expenses (food, electricity, phone bill...) and if you want to go out and visit places that will take also a bit. So in total I'd say it depends but around 1,400-1,600€ per month.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Paris from your city?

From my city (Valencia, Spain) is either Ryanair or Transavia. They are the cheapest airplane companies.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Paris?

To have drinks or to go to pubs the so called "Barrio Latino" or Bastille.
Then there're many cool night clubs all around the city which you can choose from.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Paris?

Le petit grec, Ralph's, Okito, Brunch Healthy, Wild & the moon, Pink mama, Season, Sushi Burrito, Chipotle, Vapiano...
There're countless places that you can try out

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Versailles, Musée d'Orsay, Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur, Pompidou, Jardins du Luxembourg, Pantheon, Opera, Musee de les arts, Grand Palais et Petit Palace, Madelaine...
