Due to its student friendly atmosphere.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?

Quite calm and easy. Everything is close to each other making it easy to transport and plan trips. Also because majority of services have beneficial discounts for students.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Paris to other students?

Yes

What is the food like?

The food is quite ordinary. Although if you want to eat something foreign it may cost more. Easy to find good and reasonably priced restaurants.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Paris?

Not really.

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

Around 900 euros for a very small studio of 50 squared meters. Pretty expensive.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

It is easy grip on to the French language if you speak a Romance language. It has a lot of similar words to the English language and it is quite simple to memorise necessary vocabulary.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Paris from your city?

Paris is my city. The most economical way to travel throughout the city is by using the public transport. The ticket prices are reasonable and it is always possible to get the pass where you pay monthly.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Paris?

I say that the best nightlife in Paris would be around Place de Clichy, Bastille and the area around the Moulin rouge.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Paris?

The cafes tend to have good food and relatively cheap food. There is also Thai at home (a Thai restaurant) and also IT found in Bastille ( great for students)

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

There are the typical touristic areas to visit. Another place worth visiting is chatelet next to the centre Pompidou it is an area filled with shops and cafes. It is a nice place to hangout with friends.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Paris in the future?

My main advice is to get the public transport pass. It is payed every month and covers all the Parisian suburbs.
